essas expressões ficam em um contexto.

de um período prolongado de consumo, quando alguém ‘go on a bender’, significa
que essa pessoa fica bebendo sem parar por, pelo menos, dois ou três dias, passa
dos limites, chega a desmaiar por conta da intoxicação, acorda e já volta a
beber. E também é uma atitude daqueles que não tem mais o que perder na vida,
pois a bebida já tirou tudo.
